Aura loves creating unusual vessels with unexpected forms and bright colors that can be used and enjoyed every day. She specializes in hand carving, mostly of organic subjects like flowers, leaves, and flowing lines that enhance the shape of the vessel. Crafting small animals, like frogs in funny poses, or poses imitating famous statues or paintings, are also among her favorite subjects.
Aura also weaves - creating table runners, scarves, kitchen towels - mostly in 100% cotton or wools from around the world. The colors available are absolutely stunning!
