3rd ANNUAL OPEN STUDIO TOUR
The dates are set for Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19, and you are invited to visit our artists in their studios as they demonstrate their techniques and offer opportunities for you to try your hand. And, of course, you'll be able to explore and purchase their artwork for sale. This Tour is free and open to our LOW friends and neighbors, and other invited guests.
The participating artists and a downloadable map of the studio locations can be found below. Although the locations are numbered, you can, of course, visit any or all of the studios in any order you like.
New this year - The Open Studio Tour Passport!
Scroll down past the artists and print out the Passport before you start your tour. As you visit the studios, have the artist initial your Passport. If you visit all 8 of the studios and leave your completed Passport at your last studio, you'll be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate that can be spent at the LOW Clubhouse or Fareways Cafe! You have two days to see them all - no problem!

There will be several artists exhibiting and selling their work at this studio location:

Karen Weingartner - Watercolor, Acrylic Painting
Maribeth Logan, the owner of Creative Gatherings, will be sharing information about activities at this studio through the year and weekly open studio time.
Each of the participating artists will be doing demonstrations of their artform.
There will be door prizes and snacks!
Studio access:
There is ample parking for up to 20 cars around the studio building and just one step into the studio.

Jewelry made from antique china, stained glass creations.
Visitors will see all equipment that Toni uses to create her jewelry pieces and how she designs and then cuts glass for stained glass pieces. Visitors may try using the tools to cut glass to get a feel for how it's done.
Studio access:
Parking is available at both 116 and 112 Washington Street in addition to Toni’s own driveway. Follow the path on the left side of the house down to the studio entrance. No steps. Studio #4 is two houses away.

Handcrafted Wood Furniture, Decor, Functional Pieces, and Jewelry
My wife Joyce and I moved to Virginia from Wisconsin in 2014. We have raised 2 sons who are now raising their own families and have blessed us with 3 grandchildren.
My interest in creating with wood happened quite by accident. We were looking for a table to fit into our foyer with no luck, so I bought a nice piece of walnut and made my own table. It was well received by not only us but also admired by others. With the leftover wood I made a few other items. It became a hobby. I am learning that creating using various types of wood is endless and that's been fun.
I also enjoy travel, cycling, golf, and good times with friends we have made at Lake of the Woods.

Studio inside front door, four steps with handrail. Park in driveway along split rail or in driveway turnaround.

BJ will be demonstrating her paper mache process in her lower level studio. Her paintings will be on display on the main level.
Studio access:
Parking in the driveway. Use the turnaround to park. There are just two steps into the house, then 14 steps to go down to her studio. She is just around the corner from the main marina if additional parking is needed.
