Ginny McCluskey

Ginny works in watercolor, with inspiration from color, nature and architecture.

Ginny has been creating art for as long she can remember, with support and encouragement coming from many of her talented relatives as she grew up. She has worked with leather, batik, oil paint, crewel and embroidery, quilting and lots and lots of fabric as a sewist. She earned a degree in Fashion Design from Endicott College in Beverly MA, and then moved on to the corporate world after earning a Business Degree from Lesley College in Boston, MA. While working, she fed her creative energy by taking many art classes that involved painting and started her path to watercolor.

She currently works from her home studio in Locust Grove, VA. She has exhibited and sold paintings at the Central Rappahannock Library and the Lake of the Woods’ Fareways Café. Ginny is currently preparing works for upcoming exhibits, so stay tuned.
