Bill Mann

As a person of faith, my goal is to reflect the beauty of God’s creation and the spiritual power of nature in art.  Through the interplay of color, line and form my acrylic paintings invite the viewer to connect with the art on an emotional and personal level.  

When I was a young man, I fell in love with the creative process.  Then, I followed a path into the ministry and put down my brushes and tubes of paint.  Now, after many years, I have picked up my artist’s tools again. 

Growing up in Minnesota, surrounded by many lakes, I was fascinated by the blues of lake and sky, the deep green of forests and the beauty of reflected light on water and leaves.  Now located at Lake of the Woods, Virginia, my subjects are the flowers and animals of Virginia and the mountains, lakes, rivers, marshlands and ocean of the Eastern United States.
