Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University, and then pursued a career in the arts. She worked as a Graphic Artist, Illustrator, Art Director and Webmaster. She founded her own design firm, Jenisys, which provided a wide range of graphic design products for the print and electronic media industries.
After retiring, Jennifer started taking workshops with well-known watercolorists such as Anne Abogott, Paul Jackson and others. Jennifer enjoys painting the beauty of nature especially flowers and landscapes, as well as people and pet portraits. In her first juried show at the Springfield Art Guild in 2018, she took First Place with “Apple Blossoms.”
