I’m a fabric artist who’s work has won awards, been exhibited nationally, and featured in Quilter’s Newsletter, Country Living and other publications. My CHESTER MYSTERY PLAY QUILT hangs in Chester Cathedral, Chester, England and TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS is in the Museum of the American Society of Quilters, Paducah, KY.
I work in a folk art tradition being basically self-taught and not having begun quilting until after the birth of my third child. My pieces are meant to bring joy and to celebrate God’s creation.
This past year I’ve added working in paper mache to create whimsical dancing pigs and foxes and other critters along with continuing to create quilt art commissions and smaller decorative items.
