Sigrid Wares

I am a Mixed Media Artist inspired by and curious about life and the people that fill this universe. 

Since retiring as a Registered Nurse, I have immersed myself in the creative process utilizing Acrylics and then expanding my horizons into the mysterious world of the ever-elusive Alcohol Inks as well as painting with Encaustic Wax. I have showcased my art in several NJ locations to include being selected as an entrant into a Perkins Center for the Arts Juried Exhibition. 

I was raised in the gorgeous state of Vermont and hold dear the values instilled in my carefree youth. I am basically a self-taught artist having always appreciated the skill and dedication required to portray art. 

My husband and I moved to Lake of the Woods from New Jersey in late Fall of 2019 to be closer to family. We are very impressed with the LOW community and are looking forward to making new friends and enjoying this laid back life.
